PEAR::Auth won't install

System: Red Hat 8.0 (x86 system) / Fully updated with Ximian Red Carpet
PHP: Downloaded, compiled and installed 4.3.0
I have installed a couple of packages with # pear install <packagename> such
as Auth_HTTP and Auth_SASL without problem
When I attempt to install Auth I get
# pear install Auth
downloading Auth-1.1.1.tar ...
...done: 57,903 bytes
Invalid checksum : 4275 calculated, 420 expected
Is this a checksum typo on the server or is there something wrong on my end?
