Do you know if there's something like DB_Dataobject for MDB? In fact, I'd like some other approach than the used by Dataobject, but I can't find other. As Lorenzo mentioned, [M]DB_QueryTool might be what you are looking for. I would just be interested which 'other approach' you prefer, do you mean something like QueryTool or something more advanced? I am asking because i am still looking for input to QueryTool. Just to tell you my thoughts behind it: I was thinking about writing another package, which really abstracts SQL-Queries, even for the different DB's, so that you can build queries using methods, which also abstract DB-specific queries, like string operations, and alike, or abstracting subselects. But i am only thinking about it, because i actually think that there is an SQL standard, and that it should actually not be our task to write such an abstraction class, since the DB's should prefereably confirm to the SQL standard ... but we know what the reality looks like. So i am always for and against it at the same time :-) Please tell us your thoughts ... -- Wolfram ... opensource @ vision:produktion ... http://opensource.visionp.de ... translating template engine .... http://sf.net/projects/simpletpl ... authentication system .... http://sf.net/projects/auth
