pear module intallation with Windows

Hello, I have PHP 4.2.2 installed under Windows Me, in the directory c:/dev/php4/php4-2.2-win32. Everything is fine, included the PEAR default installation. Then I try to install Auth module with the Semi automatic installation: - I set the zlib extension in php.ini - in the above repertory, I modified pear.bat with the ad hoc variable values (PEAR_INSTALL_DIR, ...) - I put Auth-1[1].2.0.tgz in directory pear/script - from the above directory, I run pear.bat install auth-1~1.tgz and ... pear.bat creates a c:/php4 directory and put everything in it! Also my question is: what I have forgotten to get the Auth module installed in the directory c:/dev/php4/php4-2.2-win32/pear? Regards Pierre Raoul
