I am looking to the sources of DB/mssql.php :
Here may be the diference between 1.3 and 1.4 :
lign 161 (181 in 1.4) :
1.3 lign 161 : $ar = @mssql_fetch_array($result);
1.4 lign 181 : $ar = @mssql_fetch_array($result, MSSQL_ASSOC);
The PHP documentation isn't up to date about this point ! The new parameter is supposed to work like the MySQL version (i.e. only return the associative indices), but I suspect a bug in the mssql implementation ! (php 4.2.3)
I use php-sybase rpm (Mandrake 9.0 I didn't find any php_mssql package because Sybase is supposed to cover both.) and I think that MSSQL_ASSOC isn't defined at all. I have try different value 0 to 5 with no result.
