There are:
DB_DataObject by Alan Knowles which is in PEAR:
http://pear.php.net/package-info.php?pacid=80
MetaStorage by Manuel Lemos:

DB_DataContainer which is PEAR compliant and was made
with simplicity as major goal:

First ask yourself do you really want to use one. After all many
tempalting systems just introduce a new "scripting language" of
their own duplicating things you can allready do with pure PHP.
Personally I always use object entities of data fetched from
database and use code like:
-cut-
<ul>
<li> <?php print $person->getFirstName() ?>
<li> <?php print $person->getLastaneName() ?>
<li> <?php print $person->getMobile ?>
</ul>
-cut-
Then again, your mileage may vary.

Directory structure is pretty much matter of taste, but for
PHP code if you are going to use PEAR classes it is a good
idea to follow directory structure similar to PEAR's.
