Markus presented a nice example why not to rely on PEAR packages
installed by host/server provider. However what is easily possible to do
is to create your own installation of PEAR packages, which will be used
by all of your web apllications on the webhosting server. In my case
this is always directory $HOME/lib/PEAR/
