Hi all, for a few weeks we decide to change our code and use pear-DB. The reason was independence from a RDBMS. We use MySQL and PGSQL for the same application and it runs fine on both. But now we want to add transactions, and all i know about this is, that MySQL doesn't support Transactions on InnoDB-tables. Must i transform my DB or there are other methods possible? It's the other way round: MySQL supports transactions *only* with InnoDB tables, so if your tables are not of the type InnoDB, you need to convert them. This can be painlessly done with a simple ALTER TABLE statement. If you use InnoDB, you can also use Foreign Keys with MySQL. CU Markus
