You can always use PgSQL. :-)
Seriously (related to the original poster), why use to different database
servers? Unless your doing hosting and different customers need diferent DB
servers.
On the other hand, I heard the MySQL with InnoDB tables has terrible
performace issues, compared to PgSQL which can be head to head with plain
MySQL (normal MySQL tables) and has transacctions, foreign keys and
fulltextsearch (as a contrib).

si podés usar PostgreSQL?
