Hi Helgi:
Hi guys, http://pear.php.net/manual/en/standards.control.php anyone, am I the only one that things placing a extra new line after breaks is just quite unnecessary ? +1
Again, hi-jacking your message to request CS update (Past thread in QA) Please, could it be possible to update also CS a little ? It gave a lot of discussions as: - ternary operator, - what should be the name for public properties and classes - file naming conventions (this one is very heavy) - is it to use 'string' or "string" ? - ... Yes, I come up with one more point: I try to code the strings as 'string' when they should remain fixed and as "string\n" when some \n or variable are to be interpreted in it. But then, when a variable comes in, I try as PHP recommands to bracket it: "string with {$variable}" and not "string with $variable" That eases the reading and future updates (e.g. when $variable becomes an array or an object) Ok, it's not saving fingers ;) Should I work out a review of all those CS points out from available archives, and post it (not hi-jacking :( ? à+ -- bertrand Gugger (toggg)
