Taking over HTML_Select_Common package

Hello PEAR Quality Assurance mailing list, My name is Peter Snyder and I am interested in taking over the HTML_Select_Common package. I'm interested for two reasons, 1) because I'd like to add some additions to the class (HTML_Select_Common_Month, HTML_Select_Common_Year, and other classes to handle similar repetitive tasks), and 2) because I am interested in taking a greater role in the PEAR community and this package seems like a low difficulty, good first step. I have been a PHP developer for several years and have built a couple of (moderately) successfully / popular PHP websites. If it'd be useful I'd be happy to talk more about my qualifications or capabilities, but mostly I just want to say that I'm excite about getting involved in the community.
