No thanks. Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2004-06-29 21:03:26] helgi at trance dot is Well not necesseraly, we could hack this thing around if we want, but at the expense of some preformance I guess :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2004-06-29 21:00:08] danielc at analysisandsolutions dot com "Assigned" is needed so we can search/sort, etc on that status. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2004-06-29 20:49:34] helgi at trance dot is Hmm will have a look at this soon, thought I had coded it so that if there is something in the assign to input then the bug was auto set to assigned *tests now* Also I agree with the assign state isn't neseccery so I'll remove it probably soon and all that if no one objects. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2004-06-29 20:42:20] davey at php dot net Description: ------------ When you assign a bug to a developer, the bug status should get set to "Assigned" if it was previously set to Open (and only if it was set to Open). I think we can safely assume that there is never a problem with this. Heck, should "Assigned" even be a status in and of itself? Shouldn't this just be determined on whether its actually assigned or not? :) - Davey ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=1742&edit=1
