Well, that's one less thing then that needs to be pearized. :) Ahh progress.. LOL... P.S. HOPEFULLY, if things go well today, I'll create the Pear::PHPLib and then move over the PHPLib code... Sebastian (and the other Pear CVS folks), if I don't get CVS privs in the next day or two, how do you folks want me to submit the patch? And when I check stuff out of the php4 area, can I just check out php4/pear? Or do I need some stuff from PHP4 itself? -- Jeff Stuart jstuart@neo.rr.com -----Original Message----- From: Martin Jansen [mailto:mj@php.net] Sent: Wednesday, March 07, 2001 9:06 AM To: jstuart-php@neo.rr.com Cc: PHP PEAR Mailing List Subject: Re: [PHP-PEAR] RFC on merge of PHPLib and Pear On Wed, 7 Mar 2001 07:54:26 -0500, Jeffrey A. IIRC, Ulf Wendel already started documenting parts of PHPLIB in PHPDoc style (e.g. the form classes). >5) Merge if possible or if needed DB_sql and Pear::DB I don't know if this is really a good idea. A few days ago, I complained on news:de.comp.lang.php about Pear::DB because I didn't like the way to use it. But now I've played a little bit with it and it seems very nice for me now. So it might be better idea to locate the problems in Pear::DB instead of removing the whole thing. Martin P.S. I would really like to help out more but I'm currently very busy at study. But I'm pretty sure that there will be better times soon. ;-).
