| The idea is to put an XML file in each package distribution with all the
| meta information. There is no DTD yet, so here's a format suggestion:
|
| <?xml version='1.0'?>
| <package>
| <packagename>Some/Package</packagename>
| <originator>POOH</originator>
| <maintainer sameas="originator"/>
| <version type="stable">1.0</version>
| <version type="devel">2.0</version>
| <copyright sameas="originator"/>
| <summary>Some package to do something</summary>
| <description>Full description of the package</description>
| </package>
|
This maybe is not a Pear-related question, but how (from under php ofcoz') can I
distract version, packagename and so on from the above using php script ?
Cheers,
Lukasz
