Rui, Leopard shipped PHP doesn't allow compiling of PECL modules. It does not export essential symbols so you can't dynamically link a library to it. What I needed to do was to compile my own version of PHP from source. It might also need to strip some 64 bit stuff, or make sure you're compiling your extension as 64-bit (can check with file <extension.so>). Hope this helps, Olivier On Fri, Nov 14, 2008 at 8:41 AM, Rui Quelhas <rfpquelhas03@gmail.com> wrote: > > Following my the previous messages. > I'ts just weird, because there is an extension (phpcups.so) at the path > "/usr/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20060613" and by not the defining > any extension_dir on 'php.ini' (putting a ';' on the respective line) the > path above is loaded by default and i can use the existing extension > (php.so) using the dl() function or including it on 'php.ini' in the > extension form.
