The warnings should be ok (we have not updated the API to use the latest version, but usually libsvn is backward compatible)
You need to look for the lines that are not warnings and work out why it's stopping.

Hello all. I am trying and failing to install the PECL svn package. I am running CentOS 5.3, which comes with PHP 5.1.6. I added a third party repo, rpmforge, which gives me subversion 1.6.2. I tried running pecl install -f svn which reported: 4 source files, building running: phpize Configuring for:PHP Api Version: 20041225 Zend Module Api No: 20050922Zend Extension Api No: 220051025 The configure went without a problem, it was the make that failed. About 30 errors that look similar to this one: /tmp/tmpo0yKMN/svn-0.5.0/svn.c:733: warning: 'svn_client_checkout2' is deprecated (declared at /usr/include/subversion-1/svn_client.h:1080) /tmp/tmpo0yKMN/svn-0.5.0/svn.c: In function 'zif_svn_ls': .... make: *** [svn.lo] Error 1 ERROR: `make' failed Was wondering if anyone has had any success with a similar setup, or some words of advice? Thanks. -Peter
