OK. Same setup, these errors appear in the middle of all the warnings. I guess they just flew by too fast for me to really examine them.
/tmp/tmpZEr9Xf/svn-0.5.0/svn.c: In function 'zm_startup_svn':
/tmp/tmpZEr9Xf/svn-0.5.0/svn.c:601: error: 'SVN_PROP_REVISION_DATE' undeclared (first use in this function)
/tmp/tmpZEr9Xf/svn-0.5.0/svn.c:601: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
/tmp/tmpZEr9Xf/svn-0.5.0/svn.c:601: error: for each function it appears in.)
/tmp/tmpZEr9Xf/svn-0.5.0/svn.c:602: error: 'SVN_PROP_REVISION_ORIG_DATE' undeclared (first use in this function)
/tmp/tmpZEr9Xf/svn-0.5.0/svn.c:603: error: 'SVN_PROP_REVISION_AUTHOR' undeclared (first use in this function)
/tmp/tmpZEr9Xf/svn-0.5.0/svn.c:604: error: 'SVN_PROP_REVISION_LOG' undeclared (first use in this function)
And it ends after some more of the same warnings with this:
make: *** [svn.lo] Error 1
ERROR: `make' failed
Thanks!

The warnings should be ok (we have not updated the API to use the latest version, but usually libsvn is backward compatible) You need to look for the lines that are not warnings and work out why it's stopping. Regards Alan Peter Stickney wrote:Hello all. I am trying and failing to install the PECL svn package. I am running CentOS 5.3, which comes with PHP 5.1.6. I added a third party repo, rpmforge, which gives me subversion 1.6.2. About 30 errors that look similar to this one: /tmp/tmpo0yKMN/svn-0.5.0/svn.c:733: warning: 'svn_client_checkout2' is deprecated (declared at /usr/include/subversion-1/svn_client.h:1080) /tmp/tmpo0yKMN/svn-0.5.0/svn.c: In function 'zif_svn_ls': .... make: *** [svn.lo] Error 1 ERROR: `make' failed Was wondering if anyone has had any success with a similar setup, or some words of advice?
