Hello,
I would like to make phpredis available on PECL. phpredis is an extension
for the Redis key/value datastore, that I've been working on for the past 17
months: https://github.com/nicolasff/phpredis
phpredis currently has several hundred unit tests and all the methods are
documented. It is the only PHP extension officially recommended on the Redis
website (http://redis.io/clients).
The extension is already packaged in FreeBSD ports as "php-redis", as well
as on dotdeb.org for Debian users, but a PECL distribution would probably
make it easier for everyone.
I sent an email to this list in January, without any answer at the time. I
still have hope that it can happen :-)
