I do! Admittedly, I've only got around 250 users on a 24/7 basis.
Windows 2008 Server, IIS 7, MS SQL 7/2000/2005/2008, PHP5.3.6.
Scalability, I can't talk about, but the current setup of
IIS+FastCGI+PHP, with MS SQL Server Driver for PHP, is providing me
with a very stable environment.
Add to this, using pecl/win32service to run "threaded" PHP scripts
(using pecl/wincache to communicate between the "threads") allows me
to bring a server up/down AND have my PHP-based "services" stop/start
appropriately.
As for eio support (fully agree with you that it the extension should
NOT be called libeio), I wasn't saying that it should/must support
Windows. If it doesn't, then that's fine. There are many extensions
which are not cross platform. Some are even Windows only! Mainly
because windows rocks! ;-p
