Hi there. Below is an email I sent to you all two weeks ago as required by the form for setting up a PECL account. That form has a radio button "yes we talked about it on the list and decided it is time I have an account." Though it seems like I may have gotten overlooked. I would like to add and maintain a new extension in PECL, geoipo, which is a brand new and up to date object oriented extension for MaxMind's libgeoip. All my original links to source and description are below. I believe it would be better to add this new instead of taking over the existing geoip in pecl because the api is 100% different (as it is oop and not proceedural) and also simplifies the libgeoip api to be more PHPesque. So basically I am looking for some sort of feedback so that I can click that bubble on the form in honesty. I already have an SVN account (bmajdak) if that has any weight. But it works great on my CLI and prefork Apaches. the thread-saftey part is not true anymore. it has since been taken care of. > > > > love, bob.
