Thanks for the tip. Sorry to bug all you guys again. I checked and did everything again: PHP 4.3.0 RC1 works with Apache 1.3.23 It does not work with Apache 2.0.40. You get: Apache.exe: module "c:\php4build\snap\sapi\apache2filter\sapi_apache2.c" is not compatible with this version of Apache. Please contact the vendor for the correct version. This might hint at what you expressed in your previous email. I searched my system for php4ts.dll and php4apache2.dll. They are all PHP 4.3.0 RC1. The other reason why I think this might not be the problem is because it works just fine with Apache 1.3.23. Without me changing any configurations. Maybe it also has something to do with some extension: I use OCI8, XSLT (with JS), GD. BTW: This same problem existed with PHP 4.2.2. It was never resolved. But 4.2.3 did not have it. Also a 4.3.0-dev snapshoot from a few months back had the same issues. I will keep playing around with it. Are you sure that's the only version of that file that is available? The crashes might be caused by an incompatible php4ts.dll file... don't mix versions!
