PHP (at the time of its release) supports the latest Apache version
available. You should be able to work out wich version of Apache is
supported by any particular PHP release. Unfortunatelly apache people tend
to break binary module compatibility on each new release so we end up in a
mess like this.
Apache2 should be mentioned in the latest cvs version install.txt. It is
also present in the release branch. Have a look at
http://cvs.php.net/co.php/php4/win32/install.txt?r=1.16.2.1
