Hi I've not really done any qa work on the 4.0.2 release, because of time spent sorting out installation software,Same here... I think that I am going to not going to work on actively trying to test RCs (or at least not on as many *@$#* platforms) until I have a better grip on the basic skills needed to build and install. I think that I am more useful when I am trying to organize the qa team, performing bug sweeps and working on systems for the qa team.
however, I've been watching the lists for problems. It strikes me that for the Windows release, the problems reported by Daniel Beulshausen regarding the fact that, on Windows, php doesn't seem to be looking in the correct place for the php.ini file is a showstopper - it effectively breaks everyone's installation. I don't know if anyone else has come across anything they feel ought to be fixed before a release, but I suppose its down to us QA people to generate a list, and then either fix the problems ourselves, or alert someone who can.Sounds like a very good idea to me. - Zak
