And finally, I would like to have a archive/library team that scours the mailing lists looking for possible bugs, gleaning useful tips and collection the scattered wisdom of the developers. I do not know If Ron Charma is on this list but he and myself (Among Others) are still trauling through the manual errata removing the non helpful posts, If a bug has been reported in the errata I have tried to test for it and either delete/report it. As I also currently get all new posts to the errata sent to my mailbox I would be happy to do this for the errata. I can also do this for php-general if needed (I can see my mailbox swelling now :))
You are a better man than I! :) If you would take this task on, that would be great. There is a lot of good information that gets posted to the lists - and right now much of it gets missed/lost/forgotten (yes, I do realize that people can search the archives. However, having the information organized and eventually worked into the manual would be a better solution.)
Another thing that I have been trying to do (With mixed results) Is to close some of the documentation bugs that have been around for a while.
I have seens the hundreds of messages that you, Ron and the others have been generating on the php-notes list - good work!
Other than that, Zak keep it up your doing a great job... I think you need a nice fancy title to put on your CV for all the work that you are currently doing.
re di tutto? rex maximus? ;D
Also the installer looks great Phil! I has a quick look at the MSDN article and I see its all in VB, If I can remember enough of my Visual Basic then perhaps I can give you a helping hand/guidance if you get stuck on the IIS Metabase stuff although I havnt used VB for quit a while now.
