Hello,
I'm trying to write a SOAP server using PEAR::SOAP 0.7.3.
I have a few questions:
1. Is there anywhere I can find better documentation than the comments inside the source and the examples directory?
2. Right now I use ISO-8859-8-i (or windows-1255) encoding in my system. Most of them contain hebrew characters. I can't use UTF-8 because the xml parser returns errors when I'm trying to use it, and it is not accepting ISO-8859-8 encoding.
So I tried using ISO-8859-1 and later displaying it as -8, which should work. I set $server->response_encoding to 'ISO-8859-1' and it worked, until I tried generating a SOAP_Fault and then it fall back to UTF-8 again. (and the xml parser generated an error when I tried to return an hebrew error message). How can I prevent that?
3. I noticed that when I return a simple SOAP_Fault the lib returns lots of other information except the actual error, like the path of the files, its parents, lines etc. How can I prevent that and only return the simple errror message?
4. I intend to run several functions at once. Is it possible to keep the HTTP connection alive, to prevent the network overahead of reconnecting everytime?
Thanks,
Sagi
