For now you can change the encoding manually in Base.php, by changing the line: define('SOAP_DEFAULT_ENCODING', 'UTF-8'); To define('SOAP_DEFAULT_ENCODING', 'ISO-8859-1'); I'll have to fix SOAP_Fault to take an encoding somehow.
