My Client looks like:
$wsdl =& new SOAP_WSDL('myURL?wsdl');
$client =& $wsdl->getProxy();
$client->setLicenseKey('XYZ123ABC');
$k = $client->getLicenseKey();
and variable $k is an empty string. Both calls should act on the same client object.
In Shane's Presentation (http://talks.php.net/show/soap-phpcon-ny2003/66) he uses a function "$server->setPersistence(SOAP_PERSISTENCE_SESSION)" to make the object persistant through the whole session, but this function does not exist in the current implementation anymore.
Furthermore I had a timeout-problem. I had to change the variable $timeout in HTTP.php directly, since I haven't found a way to set an option (CURL) with my client.

It looks like there is a copy/reference problem. By default PHP 4 makes copies of objects, you might to check that you're not acting on a copy. Arnaud.Hi, I'm using a SOAP_Server and SOAP_Disco_Server to generate a WSDL interface for my server methods. When I call two methods 'setValue($x)' and '$x = getValue()', the content of '$x' is lost. Is it possible to make variables persistent through the whole session?
