Dear Sam,
An update for documentation, in the README, the java.library and java.home is not writen and
explained. I think you have to insert it, so, if someone want to try, there is a one stop solution
that will make 100% running.
Can you give me a FAQ of installing the java module (or if there is not the FAQ, I can help you
build that), or email related with it, because I usually delete the last email in PHP4, but I cannot
access the geocrawler.com from here for the mail archieve.
Can you help me how to install the java module in PHP4, again. Or you have a instruction
step-by-step. I try the PHP mailing list, but no one reply my message.
I install the Java module, and add the current statement in PHP.ini
[java]
java.class.path="c:/jdk1.2.2/jre/lib/rt.jar;C:/PHP/php_java.jar;"
extension=php_java.dll
java.library.path="C:/jdk1.2.2/lib;c:/php;c:/jdk1.2.2/jre/lib;"
java.library="C:/jdk1.2.2/jre/bin/classic/jvm.dll"
java.home="c:/jdk1.2.2/"
I can run jver.php from the DOS prompt and from browser, but jawt.php from
the browser.
If I run the jawt.php, the error message is :
Warning: java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError in c:\webpages\jawt.php on
line 10
Warning: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: sun/awt/windows/WToolkit in
c:\webpages\jawt.php on line 11
Warning: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: sun/awt/windows/WToolkit in
c:\webpages\jawt.php on line 16
If I change the parameter below:
[java]
java.class.path="c:/jdk1.2.2/jre/lib/rt.jar;C:/PHP/php_java.jar;"
extension=php_java.dll
; java.library.path="C:/jdk1.2.2/lib;c:/php;c:/jdk1.2.2/jre/lib;"
java.library="C:/jdk1.2.2/jre/bin/classic/jvm.dll"
; java.home="c:/jdk1.2.2/"
The error is missing, but the browser is waiting something.
But If I execute in the DOS prompt, the java application, Zend with the
Hello button appeared.
I agree this is the problem with the java.library path. But I don't know to solve it.
I try this in my Windows 2000Advanced Server, Windows98, and Windows95 all are using Apache 13.11
for Windows.
Regards,
Frans
