Not sure if something like this is in PHP. Should be easy to do if it is. I am not clear on
exactly what MS considers the start, stop, or end of an application...

Session end should be duplicable. Application end should be duplicable. There is a
register_shutdown function or something like that in PHP.

Namespace clutter?
You'd rather have:
print myapp::arewe::thereyet::posted::dosomething
than have something simple like:
print $dosomething;
Seems like I am missing something yet again... I don't believe in this OO garbage, if you
haven't noticed ;) (I think in a cluttered, yet ordered manner, though.) It is handy at
times.
But, it can quickly overcomplicate what should be very clear, concise program flow. KISS
method. I like PHP exactly the way it is in this regard. The PHP language is almost perfect in
its intended environment. Where OO is useful, PHP usually implements it.
