I have here some problems to build a standalone binary. Now I use my
Debian system at home with all needed tools properly installed:
bash-2.01$ ./buildconf
buildconf: keeping aclocal.m4
./ext/xml/Makefile.am:8: invalid variable `phplib_LTLIBRARIES'
./ext/xml/Makefile.am:8: invalid variable `phplib_LTLIBRARIES'
buildconf: keeping configure
buildconf: keeping libzend/aclocal.m4
buildconf: keeping libzend/configure
buildconf: keeping TSRM/aclocal.m4
buildconf: keeping TSRM/configure
bash-2.01$ ./configure
...
creating libphp4.module
sed: can't read ./libphp4.module.in: No such file or directory
...
bash-2.01$ make
Makefile:101: sapi/@PHP_SAPI@/Makefile.inc: No such file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target `sapi/@PHP_SAPI@/Makefile.inc'. Stop.
