Hello,
Late last night ran into some difficulty getting both php3 and php4betarc5
running simultaneously as apache 1.3.9 modules. Same problem thisaft with
3.0.12/4beta3
The config line for apache was:
./configure --with-layout=RedHat --enable-shared=max
For both php3 and 4...
./configure --with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs --with-mysql --with-zlib
--enable-versioning
Everything compiled fine after the addition of the --disable-inline for the
php4 config. Make and make install for everything went fine.
However, I still cannot load both modules, httpd cannot be started, and the
logs show nothing at all. If I comment out one of the php modules, the
other works fine and httpd starts, just not with both.
I did get the following message during the php4beta make. I can't help but
think this might have something to do with not being able to load both
modules...

No doubt I've goofed up somewhere, but Im at a loss. Any insight would be
appreciated. Redhat 6.0, mysql 3.2.27 server/client/devel from rpms,
