Hello,
I installed PHP 4.0b3 on Solaris without any problems with this;
... --with-gd --with-ttf ...
Then I found out that ImageTTFText() is generating strange images,
the text is appearing like mirrored. So I downloaded GD and Freetype from
their original locations, installed them and recompiled php with;
... --with-gd=/usr/local/lib --with-ttf=/usr/local/lib ...
everything came back to its places, it's started to work!
Thanks,
Tigran Nazaryan
