| Cool, auspicious beginning. Didn't know you were going to put this under
| the PHP tree though.
The idea (that in part still only exists in my head) is that you can put
stuff into your local PECL installation from both PHP's install tree and
separate distributions. The database abstraction layer fits well into
this, so I thought we could give both a shot this way.
We just need to make sure that someone (meaning us) have control of the
"namespace".
