I'm having problems getting php4-latest (from va.php.net/~sas/snapshots/) to compile correctly on FreeBSD 3.3. It appears that the PHP3_MAX_SALT_LENGTH is not getting defined properly... I'm assuming because PHP3_EXT_DES_CRYPT is not getting defined by the "configure" script. (I'm assuming its suppose to be PHP3_EXT_DES_CRYPT, since FBSD crypt uses a 9 char salt.)
When I manually define the constant... everything seems to work fine. So I guess its not really me having a problem compiling so much as pointing out a slight problem.
Hope this helps,
