Hi Folks, I have attached a mockup for the front page. It is a work in progress, but I thought it was a good time to get some feedback on the look and layout. Let me know what you like/dislike about it. Keep in mind I am not a designer...I think having the title "Downloads" near the download links will help disambiguate what that area is for. It will also aid visual and machine searches. Visually I think having the three (5.3, 5.2 and Windows) download fonts and descriptions identical would help unify that section. The different arrow orientation is not immediately understandable (nor will most folk care whether the link is local or not) so I suggest just making them all point down. If someone has more time, it would be good for the downloads area to be simplified to just two links "PHP 5.3.4" and "PHP 5.2.16", with the download page then giving options for bz2/tgz source, Windows etc. -- Email: christopher.jones@oracle.com Tel: +1 650 506 8630 Blog: http://blogs.oracle.com/opal/
