If someone has more time, it would be good for the downloads area to be simplified to just two links "PHP 5.3.4" and "PHP 5.2.16", with the download page then giving options for bz2/tgz source, Windows etc.

To reply to myself, perhaps the two links could be "PHP 5.3.4" and "Other versions" (with the latter showing 5.2 and the museum). I realize all this is extra effort. To repeat my very old comments, I'd vote +1 for pretty much any redesign, as long as it brings life to the web site.
