Are you saying that git fetch is so much slower? We do have both git and hg mirrors of the php-src repo on http://git.php.net and http://hg.php.net Think the git repo is even mirrored on github.. We have loads of modules on the rsync server (rsync.php.net) - but the entire repo isn't one of the them. -Hannes
