Hello Hannes,
How often do you want the system to do the things where you mention every few minutes/hours?
I'll setup everything needed for this "special" mirror today. I've to move it to
another VPS (the current one only has a few MB disc space left and nl.php.net is also on that VPS).
Do you also want stats on that mirror? Maybe it is an option to have a file somewhere and if it
exists it is in beta mode by default and else it isn't in beta mode or a switch based on the
used subdomain.
