I was never able to get PHP 4.0.1pl2 to work on IIS4. PHP 4.0.0 works fine as well as the files from download.swwwing.com. I succeeded using it from the command line but: no way to let it work calling it with a ".php" file from the web application mappings well configured with the path to php.exe and the %s %s to pass arguments no way to use some extensions like crypt.dll, no probs with calendar and some others tried to comment the doc root and some others directives in the php.ini file all the configurations are exactly from the manual. checked several times. ------------------------- - using php4isapi.dll without ISAPI mappings (some postings said to try this) ------------------------- - using php4isapi.dll trying different positions of the main dll's and different positions of the extensions.
