hello,
as said Helmut Wigger 2 months ago,
"There is a group for using php4 as -an apache- module:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------
Web page for mod_php4-win32 :
http://www.geocities.com/ro_marius/mod_php4.html
Web page for the group : http://www.onelist.com/group/mod_php4-win32
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------
"
I use that mod_php4.dll (I think it's from php4.0.0 source), it works fine
;surely it's faster than CGI version, but I never compared them accurately..
I'm also trying to recompile apache/php but it seems it's not too simple (at
least on windows/ MSVC++); perhaps we may look at php-developer-list ,I'm
thinking about it..
I'm on win NT4 sp5, apache1.3.12, php4.0.0(as module) , 4.0.1pl2 (as CGI ,on
another PC/web server)
I've just found a bad article on
http://www.caucho.com/articles/benchmark.xtp
(I really don't know what's
JSP..) looking for mod_php on infoseek..
HTH
bye,
Giuse
