phpMyAdmin + PHP4 = compatible ?

Hi everybody, contributors and readers. I've got a problem too when using phpMyAdmin : Server : NT4 SP6 + Apache 1.3.12 + Php 4.01pl2 + Mysql 3.22 All's OK but phpMyAdmin doesn't see existing databases, when creating one, I get errormessages when defining type of columns °-[ Does anybody know if there's a php4 version of phpMyAdmin ? Or is it cause php runs as a CGI ? While I'm at it, how can I ask for a logon with php running as a CGI ? Don't seem to be able to use .htaccess under Win32 ? (can't install a Linbox here at work...) Thanks for any response
