Here are a couple of extra observations... I WAS running php4.0.2dev with Apache 1.3.12 as Apache module... and I figured that phpMyAdmin was still running. But it wasn't. When I went to add tables, etc. the forms were coming up blank (with no inputs). And when I tried to open tables in existing databases, I got message: "Error MySQL said: No Database Selected". Hmmm... So, then I switched back to php4.0.1pl2 w/ Apache as CGI (no mod support in pl2), and phpMyAdmin worked fine. So, first, verify that you are indeed running pl2 in CGI and not a dev release in module mode (run phpinfo and see php version number and server api) Note to php4apache compilers, looks like the php4apache mod has more issues than we thought. Anybody running phpMyAdmin successfully under apache module? Second, I had to do some custom tweaking to get phpMyAdmin to load correctly the first time. It wasn't finding all of its include files, as the pathing wasn't looking to the local folder where phpMyAdmin was installed. I had to add the phpMyAdmin script folder to my "include_path" line of php.ini... something like *** FROM PHP.INI *** include_path = "\php;\dreamwebs\mysqladmin" Just double-check to see if you have the phpMyAdmin script directory in your include path. -- Andy Hoffman Web Developer Bristol-Myers Squibb email: andy.hoffman@bms.com
