hi,
I'm using apache and PHP4 under Win2k and it works fine as a service. Did
you put the PHP4 path in your system path ? (not user one i mean!)

i'm using apache 1.3.12 with php4.0.2dev as module, but i have a strange
problem. when i start apache on the command line in its directory the server
runs very fine. but using apache via services under w2k fails. anyone here
who has the same prob or a fix for it?
