Hi,
I understand that several people are successfully using the .dll's posted at
php4win to connect to a remote Oracle DB from a windows OS.
Could somebody who has done this successfully please post some info to help
me find where my problems are?
1. What version of Windows and Oracle you are using on the webserver?
2. Are you using PHP to access a remote database? What version of Oracle is
it?
3. What webserver (probably irrelevant) are you using
4. What environment variables have you got set?
5. Do you use the database alias with OCI logon or let it be set by an
environment variable?
I'd appreciate any help in this area, as im using ODBC calls at the moment
and id love to change back to OCI calls.
Thanks,
mn
