Thanks to Daniel and others, I'm able to use tools that I could not generate myself because I'm lacking skills. A golden rule for Freeware users: Polite requests will go a long way in getting high quality answers from those who know. Polite requests also tells the Freeware - authors/developers/compilers where the greatest need is. I had a number of instances where a "special patch" was released for a need I indicated. Up to now, the support I got from the Freeware packages was far better than I got from MS. Thanks to all making my life better! Nico PS: I would not mind a dll for the dBase functions :-)) > > sometimes I'm bored to ask this question! > > you must see from another point, some people are bored to answer this > question > > > Everytime a new version of php4 apears, I'm wondering what function > this > > time > > will fail and take hours of my lifetime. > > you are using a dev version, and it's a know issue that development > version are *never* that stable as release versions. so if you want a > stableversion go ahed and use the release (4.0.2 will be out soon) > > > An example: the gd.dll works, but function imagettftext(..) give > mirrowed > > output (in position and each character) to the screen.
