Peter,
If you want to get as close to Linux/Apache/PHP4 as possible on a Win2K
machine... I recommend downloading/installing Apache 1.3.12 for Win32. You
could install this on an unused port and still leave your IIS 5 running. Then,
you could have IIS and Apache running from the same installation of PHP4. You
could install php4.0.2dev from www.php4win.de which comes with php win32 apache
module - php4apache.dll (as well as the php4isapi.dll) and then run BOTH
php4/IIS/isapi and php4/Apache3.1.12/apache module. Make for some fun
installations :)
If you're going to host on Apache, develop in Apache, that's what I say :)
