Re: Help with install under win98

From the number of posts, it appears that PHP4 has major problems with Win98 & PWS. Lots of folks are unable to get it to work. I know the quick fix for PHP appears to be go with the Apache or Xitami web server, but in the grand scheme of what some of us are doing, that is not a practical solution. I have programs I'm definitely using set up just the way I want them in Win98/PWS. I'm just learning PHP and do not want to jeopardize my bread and butter to simply see if I want to use PHP. I have downloaded the windows installer and php4.. tried it to no avail.. finally removed it from my system and was ready to give up until the list I was in said I SHOULD be in this one.
