I don't think so. Unicode is 2 bytes for character, and if You save text
file under winnt/9x it's one byte for character, and usually it's in
Windows-xxxx coding (in my case it's Windows-1250). Maybe there is some way
to write all files in windows in unicode, but I don't know any.
I used UltraEdit command "ASCII->unicode" to write php file, and then it
stoped working. In file I put <Meta..> tag with charset set to unicode but I
don't think it's important.
Evenmore, browser (IE5) and notepad shows this file correctly-all characters
are like they should be. Only problem is that PHP doesn't process that and
sends uninterpreted source.
