Apache on NT doesn't make much sense to me. If you have to use NT (like I do), then use NT/IIS/ PHP, coupled with the built-in PHP database functionality (i.e. ODBC for Access, SQL Server, etc. OR better yet, use PHP's mssql() functions for direct (non-ODBC) communication with MS SQL Server). -----Original Message----- From: Occello Audrey [mailto:occello@essi.fr] Sent: Thursday, July 06, 2000 4:55 AM To: php-windows@lists.php.net Subject: [PHP-WIN] asp vs php I need your help, Well I haven't already developped my web site and I am a little confused. should I use : * NT server + ODBC + IIS + asp * NT workstation + ODBC + apache + php and if I choose the first alternative can I use php instead of asp? thanx, audrey
