ok, so I have my php configured --with-dom5 --with-xsl
you can see my phpinfo here.

When I access xmldoc test I get the following
--TEST-- xmldoc() --SKIPIF-- skip domxml extension not available
This coming from skipif.inc when extension_loaded('domxml') fails.
The range of domxml functions do not show in get_defined_functions.
How then, do I get the test docs to work with the dom5 extension?
The only way I can see is to configure with the old --with-dom=/usr
