As prviously stated, it needs to be recompiled --with-apache not
--with-apxs. The reason for this is that Oracle is a threaded library,
and there's a current requirement that a threaded library requires a
threaded application. By default, apache is not threaded. Thus, you're
running into that issue.
I'll be writing up my Oracle tips documentation based on everything I
learned over the last two weeks. Hopefully, it'll help. :) I probably
won't get to it until Sunday though.
